Job Title – Recruiter

Overview and Purpose
The Job Recruiter will identify, recruit, and screen potential employees for specific positions in a client’s
company or organization.

Duties/Responsibilities
● Consults with client company or organization to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s).
● Collects and analyzes data to maintain a current understanding of the fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
● Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions.
● Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with clients or hiring managers.
● Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
● Counsel candidates on the interview and hiring process.
● Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
● Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful.
● Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary.
● Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
● Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required.
● At least two years of human resources or related experience required.
● SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
● SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.

Job Title – Human Resource Administrative Assistant (Part-Time with flexible hours)

Overview and Purpose
The purpose of the Human Resource Administrative Assistant position is to provide support to other
workers (e.g. HR Director) in carrying out their job tasks. The Human Resource Administrative Assistant
typically handles administrative and clerical duties as well.

Duties
The assistant carries out a range of duties in support of organizational functions, including scheduling
appointments and meetings and answering phone calls. Includes aiding in preparing reports and
developing and implementing filing systems. May also include taking notes and minutes.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities
● Plans and organizes meetings, including developing a meeting agenda and taking notes and
minutes as needed.
● Coordinates with others within and outside of the organization.
● Makes appointments for other staff within the business unit.
● Answers phone calls in support of the work unit.
● Develops filing systems for the work unit.
● Orders supplies as needed.
● Plans meetings and trips of office visitors, providing needed support.
● Develops office policies and procedures.
● Supports simple bookkeeping functions with the unit.
● Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Title – Technical Recruiter

Overview and Purpose
The Technical Recruiter will identify, recruit, screen, and present good candidates for technology positions, collaborating with hiring managers to set realistic technical requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities
● Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions for vacancies.
● Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
● Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
● Drafts recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions.
● Selects one or more placement agencies to assist with the recruitment process.
● Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through a review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
● Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers.
● Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
● Vets potential employees’ credentials.
● Provides advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
● Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and the marketplace.
● Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booths at job fairs.
● Performs other related duties as assigned.

● Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources field required.
● At least two years of related recruiting experience required, with prior experience in technical roles a plus.
● SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
● SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
